Amanda - Coen is a cutie!
Feeling a bit blahhhh today. DH left yesterday at 5am and that is when our day started. He is away for the next 3 weeks from Monday to Friday. Last night was TERRIBLE!
Macy woke me just as I was going to sleep - complaining of sore legs (growing pains?

) then again as 11:30... then at 12

Then I finally fell asleep and 3:30 she woke up screaming about a nightmare!
Which in turn woke Beau and get this.... we were all awake until 5:45!!!! (When I last looked at the clock!)
Then Miss Moo thought it was fine to start the day at 6:15... uhhhhhh you WHAT!!! Talk about a grumpy tired Mummy today. We all crashed out at Beau's sleep time today... and I didn't get out of my pj's till 4pm and that was a struggle. So we missed playgroup.
I have threatened no swimming lessons in the morning if we have another repeat. Wish me luck!
Ahhhhhh - the joys of motherhood!

Quiet in here again !!!!
Sary, you poor thing. I hope you had a better night last night. Its so hard when your by yourself isn't it! I've been having a shocking time with h too. he just refuses to go to sleep. Last night we started bedtime at 7:30pm, had story / cuddle / cleaned teeth, and then it started...he threw everything off his bed, continued to come out of his room, told us "No no no no no" a million times and at 10pm he was stil awake. Does anyone have any ideas. he used to love going to bed and would lay in the their talking to himself until he fell asleep, but not now

I have a feeling its a independence thing and he is showing us how assertive he can be. Day time there is a little struggle but he normally asleep in about 5-10mins.
AManda, Coen looks gorgeous in his sunnies...How are you going this cycle? O'd yet?
Anyway kiddies arriving very soon best be off.... Have a nice day girlies.... Oh and i better check the 2 yr olds birthday list again...... Any birthdays today? xx:)

Morning girls!
Welcome back, Lauren!

Sary, sorry to hear your DH is away again during the week. That must be so tough on you. I know I find it hard sometimes with DH just being away during the day, and am fighting disappointment when he misses his train and will be home 30 mins late

. Did you all get a better night's sleep last night?
Rebecca, I am glad Talon has settled into preschool well

Holly, I have no suggestions to help with getting Hudson to sleep. Coen still goes down in his cot each night, so he can't escape! Hopefully someone else has a good strategy for dealing with that. I am trying very hard not to bore you all with my cycle details, but no, no o yet.
Hope everyone is going well!

Happy Birthday Milly
QUOTE
Whats your tattoo like?
I designed it myself though DH reckons it's pretty common
It's basically a heart with 5 elipses inside in the shape of a star but it's done like celtic work and is like one piece of ribbon that doesn't end, the heart is me (and hence is purple) and the elipses are the boys (blue).
If I ever find my camera again I'll post a pic. Originally I was going to get a motherhood knot but I like my design better, I might get the mh knot on the other wrist.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILLY!!!! Hip hip hooray!
I'm in a lot better spirits today. Was a bit of a better night sleep. Bit. Beau woke at midnight and kicked me till 5:30
Holly right there with you AGAIN! Beau is SUCH a monkey at bed time. We have to sit in the hallway outside his room until he falls asleep. And it seems to be taking longer and longer each night and nearly every night he gets out of bed and comes into our bed.
I am remembering Macy was a bit of a monkey at bed time at this stage too - so that is helping a bit. And trying to remember this stage will pass and trying to be consistent. However with DH away it is hard to be consistent when trying to get 2 munchkins to sleep.
1 more sleep till DH home and 2 more sleeps till Macy starts her new dance class. We got her new leotard, skirt and ballet slippers. *Sigh* She looks soooooo grown up when she wears them. She is absolutely BURSTING to start! Hee hee! Very cute.
Happy Thursday to all x

Hi Girls

Happy Birthday to all the Feb Babies

Flynn had a good day, he got an electric ride on quad bike, a push along motorbike, clothes, money and a miriad of other things
How is everyones speech going? I find Flynn is a lot like DS2 who barely spoke at this age as he had 2 older siblings to that for him. Is anyone elses 2yr old not saying a great deal?
All the other kids are going great. The 3 'big' kids are back at school thank goodness, i was starting to worry they would kill each other or i would lose what i have left of my marbles LOL! Miss Sophie is 8.5 months and ever so cheeky. She is such a gorgeous baby in every way, it's really making me eager for another lol I was kind of hoping she would be a screamer, a real terror so i would be turned off any more! Some days i find myself craving #6, other days i thank god i only have 5! So confusing lol
I won't even attempt personals, lord knows i have been so slack and away so long but i will try and keep up with you all a bit better

I have pics of the kids on facebook, if you want to add me and have a sticky beak, PM me and i will send you my name

Hope this finds you all well and i hope to talk to you all again soon xoxox

Happy Birthday to all the 2yr olds! It's our turn tomorrow
Kate Miller's speech is starting to come along, like you though he has 2 older brothers who talk for him. He can say some little sentences like don't touch, ta mum and five bucks (off a rivers ad

)
I also get you on wanting another, I thought 4 was definately it but still find myself wanting another, I'm not sure though if that feeling will ever go away, so even if I went for 5/6/7 I may always feel this way. I'm going to let Cooper get past the cute baby toddler stage before making any decisions.
A friend of mine had a baby boy 3 days ago, so of course I'm super clucky atm
Off to swimming lessons this morning, Talon and Caden have a lesson so I jump in with Miller while they are doing that, he absolutely loves it. Cooper goes in the creche, which I can see from the pool, and he loves it in there too! And then we just get to come home, no one is at daycare/preschool so we can just relax at home. I love Fridays

Happy Birthday Madison and Evie !!!!! Hope you all have a fabulous day
Oh Sary, i feel so relieved after reading your posts. This is exactly what we have to do with H.....I hope its only a stage....

I'm hearing you about DH being away too. This week my DH is on 8 night shifts straight and its hard with no help. What is it with our boys always doing the same thing? Little monkeys.
Kate, Welcome back. Nice to hear things are going well and wow i can't believe Sophie is 8.5mths already.
Rebecca, have a fab day at swimming lessons. Sounds like fun
Day off today. YAY. We are going to a friends house for morning tea= and then hopefully H and I can have a Nanna's nap after lunch. Have a great day girls. xx

Happy birthday Madison!
Happy birthday to my darling Evie!
And Happy belated birthday Milly!Gosh, this time two years ago I was just getting up and wondering if the pains I was feeling meant the baby might be on the way (and calling dad to get FIL outta my hair!)
We're off to have Evie's fave for lunch today - chicken nuggets

and a milkshake. Still need to buy her some pressies too, as FIL bought her the same thing we got her (easel). She's getting some toddler cutlery, a dolly that wees - ulterior motive there - and a digger. I also made her a pencil roll (on my blog) and a new dress, which she will wear to her party on sunday. We filled her room with balloons while she slept last night and she had such a good reaction when she woke up
Kate it's good to see you again!

but still find myself wanting another

we've got plans for another 1 or 2 but i think i will always want another. mum said she could have had babies forever but had to stop b/c she got too old... she had her 4th at 30

i was just starting my family at the same age she finished hers.

Oh yeah and bed dramas here too. Day sleeps are usually near the gate on his door or under his bed
At night sometimes he'll go to sleep on his bed, otherwise he'll go to sleep on the floor and we'll transfer him once he's in a deep sleep.
He cries and carries on everytime we put him in there.
We've cleared out his room, put locks on the cupboard doors and put a gate across the door. At least now he can't get into everything, and soon gets bored so goes to sleep, albeit on the floor
I do remember the other boys doing this, and they did grow out of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVIE, MILLIE, LACHIE AND MADDISON!!!!!!
Megan, Flynnys birthday was on the 1st

No biggie

Thanks for adding us to the list

We have locks on anything that can be locked, but he can still get into the top draw with all the cutlery which is just great... not lol Must put another lock on it...
I took myself to the dr today as i have ben feeling off for a few days, fluey and starting to cough. She says i have a chest infection, put me on AB's and told me to... wait for it... REST! LMFAO!!!!! I laughed as i grabbed my script and walked out lol Funny things these drs lol
Flynn had bronchiolitis a couple of weeks ago and Sam had a throat infection so chances were i would have caught it too. Am just praying now Miss Sophie doesn't catch it, it's horrible. Feels like my chest just wants to cave in and i just feel crap

Enough of my sooking lol
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Lordy Kate, I am sorry. I will fix toot sweet. Thought I'd add how much I love the name Flynn, I am trying to talk myself into it working with our surname if we ever have a boy but I haven't quite convinced myself. I also love Finn which is more of a mismatch.
Sorry to hear about the chest infections - Mimie has had a persistent cough for over a week and was quite bad when we got back from NZ on Wednesday (she had it before we went away but we didn't think it was anything major). Anyway, I bolstered one end of her bed, used good old Vicks on her feet , a small dose of Brauers and put a summer sleeping bag on her and two days later it seems she's on the mend. Its just that horrible horrible coughing, its heartbreaking and you know there's not much you can do. I'm glad Mimie's seems to be just a cough and nothing more.
So today its a very very
happy birthday MILLER!!!

Part one of his birthday is over, mudcake at mum and dads

He can tolerate a bit of milk now so was able to enjoy some of this, the last time he had it was his last birthday just before we found out about his intolerance.
He's having a sleep atm, while I'm making his next cake, spoilt little boy.
He got a Tonka off us, a wiggles collage kit off my sister, some pjs and a mini tonka off my brother and golf clubs and winter pjs off mum and dad.
MIL is supposed to be coming around this afternoon, hopefully she wont make another cake!
Doesn't look like Miller shares his birthday with any other of the feb babies.

I hear you on all the cakes! We had Flynns cake the day before as DH had to go away the night before, then Mum came out the actual day of his birthday so we had another one lol I think the kids had dessert every night all that week lol
Megan we love his name too

It suits him so much. That said he usually only gets called Flynn when he is in the poo lol I call him Flynnki, Flynnki-dinks, Flynni pooh (aka winnie the pooh lol) poor kid! ROFL! When we named him it was a toss up between Liam and Flynn and when he was born he was suuuuuch a Flynn IYKWIM?
I am starting to feel a little better tonight, could be the mersyndol i just took too lol DH us due home during the wee hours so i am laying in bed on the lap top, hoping to get drowsy and get some sleep in before he gets home.
Happy Birthday to MISS JEMIMA for tomorrow, i bet she gets spoilt rotten!

Ahhh so busy in here for a change! How nice!!
And happy Birthday to all our February Babies!!!...
Happy Birthday Mimie, Miller, Flynn, Evie, Maddison, Millie!
Megan - welcome back! Soo was NZ not a good trip?
Claire - that sounds awesome filling the room with balloons when asleep. I might have to pinch that idea! Both the kids will get a kick out of it. I will be putting Beau in with Macy while my Mum and Dad are here. Eeekkk... really not sure how that will go! But will give it a try.
Beau has learned the theme song to spider man. (Never watched an episode) but he got a costume for Christmas and he has become slightly obsessed! "Spiderman Spiderman - does what ever a spider can mhhfff mmm hhhuhhh mhhh mfffff LOOK OUT (sang at top of voice) HERE COMES SPIDER MAAAAAANNNN!"

Oh he cracks me up at the moment. Well actually I am swinging between being amused and wanting to throttle him. Me thinks this next year might be a tough one!!

Ahhh the mighty toddler!! Also he keeps requesting, "Spiderman cake pllleeaaassse" for his birthday.

Macy went to her first dance class yesterday and LOVED IT!!! Melt! She looked sooo cute in her leotard, skirt and slippers. And I got the... "Mummy we look the same don't we? Except you have Booms and I don't"

Followed by, "I think you have pretty Booms"

And I like it... it is now my new word for boobs too! Much nicer word IMO! Hee hee!
Well DH leaves again at 5am for another week away

but I am sure it will go soooo quickly.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend xx
