I'm going in to the nail salon this afternoon for a spa pedi and fill on my fingernails (overlays, no tips) and once again have broken another toenail leaving them looking crap.

So I'm wondering if it is worthwhile getting gel or acrylic overlay done on my toenails, well I would need some tips to start with since I have broken ones. ATM I get spa pedi and paint every 10-14 days and I thought there probably won't be much price difference if I get a french finish as the polish won't chip. I hate how the polish looks good for a couple of days and then starts to look ratty. And I really hate breaking nails which is why I get my fingernails done. If you get overlays on your toes how long between fills?

I have had it done twice, and it was fantastic! They lasted way longer than the normal polish. It grows out and you can get infils (which I never did). When they had grown too much I just peeled the layer off with no fuss. They look glossier for ages too.
