sigh - i guess that was REALLY clutching at straws! will just have to wait till january...
but i just realised that DD is getting her 18 month vaccinations tomorrow so that will line us up for a maternity immunisation allowance of $120. woo hoo!
and of course, as an added bonus, she won't get all those diseases.....

It will be paid mid January, however with the holidays etc. it is up to your centre to get their info in so it might drag out to Feb.
The Quarter will finish Dec 31st. So should be paid by the end of January 2010 approx, dependant on childcare centres getting their data into centrelink etc
July, Aug, Sept QTR - Paid in October 2009
Oct, Nov, Dec QTR - Paid in January 2010
Jan, Feb, March QTR - Paid in April 2010
April, May June QTR - Will be paid depending on tax returns etc after July 2010
Hope that helps.

witchesforest - I hate to tell you this but the maternity immunisation allowance can take anywhere up to a month - 2 months to receive. I received mine last week, however I made my claim on 25/10. CL & Medicare do an immunisation information cross reference with their computer systems once every 1-2 months apparently. Sorry

I always get my CCR anywhere from 20th-30th of the month, so from January 20 onwards!

Yep they now cross check before paying the maternity immunisation allowance, DD had her needles in October and we only got paid a couple of weeks ago. Like the PP said the cross checks are only done 1-2monthly.
Even getting her immunisations done tomorrow, you could possibly still get the CCR first.

Re: immunisation allowance - I got paid for DD2's 18 month immunisations a few days before she was booked in to even have them - (she had them @ about 20 months old)

The immunisation allowance is not dependent on a child having had their 18 month vaccinations, but is still paid at around that time.
There used to be a DTP booster given at 18 months, but it was taken off the schedule in 2003. The only thing they get at 18 months now is varicella (chicken pox), which I believe is still optional.
