Hi,

Not cheap (about $300 a pair) but for those who are on their feet all day a god send. My dad has 2 pairs, he works in warehousing on concrete floors and can't speak highly enough of them.

Note - they are a completely different type of shoe and take time to get used to, but FANTASTIC. They have ranges now for nursing/surgeons and other professionals that are on their feet all day too.

Yep, me too. And the "Easy Steps" range have nice ones too. I used to waer both of these brands when dashing around a Pharmacy fro 8 hours a day - seriouly only sitting down for about 25 minutes all day. They look smart and professional and cope well with harsh wear

Colorado's (I am a nurse). I was doing 8km plus per day on my feet and they have always been very comfortable.

I used to wear Planets, but they kept splitting across the ball of the shoe (underside). Have now got Colorado's and my feet are VERY happy! If $ were not a consideration, then I'd be wearing Docs wub.gif

I wear boots - redback brand with gel inserts(can't remember brand of them). Very manly looking things sad.gif

(doesnt help when you go and buy them (mens size 8.5) and you get tolf by the seller that you have a big hoof)

I work in hospitality, and I stand on my feet for about 11 hours a day, then come home and do the washing/dinner/dishes and maybe get off my feet about 7pm.
I wear Merrell sneakers. I bought them from the shop online in the link.
I have worn redbacks and birkenstocks before, and these beat them hands down.
They are lighter than a novel, can be put through the wash ( I do weekly, and did with my last pair for 2 years) don't give blisters EVER and are fantastic.
Go to a shop (platipus shoes often stock them) and get your size, then order online if it is cheaper. When I bought they had a 2nd pair half price sale, so I got a black and white pair too, just for walking.
I did however have to wear them in for a few days just to get the zip to do up, you usually have to hold the zip together for the first few times as they are made to be snug.

I find wearing Sheer relief stockings, or knee hi's with trousers, helps my feet and legs enormously.
