I started wearing mineral makeup recently. I didn't like it at first but now I love it. Problem is it's Mary Kay and I don't see my Marky Kay supplier anymore.
I'd love some other recommedations for around $30.
TIA

I get mine from the Body Shop. I hheart.gif it! From memory I think I paid around $30... Can't quite be sure as I never seem to buy it on it's own... Darn you body shop goodness!!! blush.gif

I recently purchased Nude By Nature & think its great! I bought a limited edition gift pack from Myer that has 3 different powders (natural mineral cover, mineral bronzer & finishing veil) & a brush. The gift pack was $59.95 but i got it for $49.95 as Myer sent me a voucher for $10. To buy them individually is around $30.
PinkInk
i use Maybelline - i was using sheer cover but was too expensive. i can't tell the difference between the two!

i love the powder brush from Body Shop.
Craptacular
I wear the MAC one it is brilliant but it's about $56. I like it because he has an SPF and the shades are perfect my bizarre skin tone.

Second would have to be Natio approx $20 but it doesn't contain SPF. Excellent colours for my skin.

Then third would be Revlon which is approx $36. The shades aren't perfect for me though, they seem to suit paler people or people with pinky undertones.

I loooooovvvvveeee Mineral Makeup!!!

I use a Mac 187 brush to buff it into my skin. It really looks like I'm not wearing make up (when I have the right shade of course!)

I actually find Avons one quite good. I want to find that research they did on the mineral makeup, it said which we actually safe and which we bad for the skin, anyone recall who did the study?
Buy Me A Pony !
Nope but stay awy from bismuth. I thought they all had SPF due to the mineral coverage?

I lurve Jane Iredale but also have nude by nature and love that as a reliable cheap n cheerful. Tried one recently at a local chemist that was Aussie made and compressed with aloe into a compact so there's less wastage. It felt nice on but didn't last as long on my slippery skin and very hot day.

Another vote for NUDE BY NATURE. Love it!

I tried maybelline and avon but didnt like that they felt kind of chalky. Then I tried Loreal and its great. I did go for the lightest colour though as the other brands were too dark and gave me that fake tan look lol

I would recommend Loreal as well. I've always found it better on my skin.
CoffeeCup
I use Everyday Minerals from America. The pots cost US$12 each. You can get a free sample kit (just pay postage) so that you can work out your colours. I found it much better than the Avon one (too chalky).

I love and have got my family on to it as well.

As PP I have bought from Everyday Minerals though I have notices that newdirections has a new range which is cheap, but I haven't tried it.
Maple Leaf
I also use Everyday Minerals...have liked it so far. original.gif

Hi
I have used so many mineral makeups, I just love them. The best by far is nude by nature. It is great! It is about $40 or so. I also use their finishing veil and bronzer. It lasts for ages.

I use Bare esensuals (sp?)... it's the best I've used so far but also the priciest

I've tried the loreal one, revlon, nude by nature, Jane Iredale, natio.... all of them either itched on my skin or looked chalky.
oli77
I use the Nutrimetics new one and love it. I used to wear foundation every day but now a little concealer and the powder and that is all.

LOVE IT! I can recommend someone if you need

I recently bought the Mineral Natio Blush ohmy.gif it's beautiful..there's a bit of shimmer to it. It looks stunning. That's what I'll be buying from now on
red door
I paid $70 for youngblood, after reading everywhere that it was the best, when actually I have found it chalky and makes my skin bumpy (isn't it meant to improve our skin?)

Might try loreal

Another Nude by Nature vote here - I have tried a few and like it the best so far.
Rubixx
Inika. It is natural and it doesn't make my skin break out.

If you want to support a local brand buy Inika. This company was started by two mums here in Australia.

Another fan of Nude, cheap, excellent coverage, perfect colour for me, and the brush is so soft. Loreal made my skin itch and the brush is scratchy.
alphareadymum
I use id (from ella bache)... only buy it when they have the gift packs which include primer bronzer veil and your shade, otherwise I find it a bit pricey.

Love mineral makeup!
