Did anyone end up doing a stall at the Tiny Treasures markets? The other kids and baby markets all fully booked for the next few months and I need to get rid of a LOT of stuff!!
I know a few EBers were going to try the Tiny Treasures markets in August?

yes yes, i got rid of a lot of my bigger items & so did my friend - was really happy with it, i didn't have to lug all my unwanted bigger items back home & got reasonable prices - it's a really nice venue as well, i've not been to the other markets but heard that sometimes people aren't willing to pay as much there as there are a lot stalls, pretty jammed, etc. the stalls (tiny treausures) are quite spacious & its all about laying it out well so that people can browse everything & buy! good luck!

I saw a brochure for these markets a week ago and was wondering what they are like, was hoping to go if there was good reviews

Hi I had a stall in August & sold alot of my items too. I agree the venue was great and the stalls weren't crammed together either. I am thinking of booking again for the October 25th market as it got me in the mood to have an even bigger clean out of the kids stuff.

Was/Is it as busy as the other markets where apparrently it's choc-a-block and hard to move around?

Nah not at all there is only about 20 something stalls so buyers were actually stopping & looking at items and not just walking past until something catches their eye to come and have a look. They could squish more tables in if they wanted to but they have left it quite open and enough room for prams to get around etc

next time I go I'm going to stop at each table and as "are you on EB?" lol I went as a buyer, got a few things but not as much as I'd get at the bigger market. I like the Ellenbrook venue better, it has room for a large items room. If I ever get my act together I'll have a stall at one of them.

Does anyone know if there are markets like these south of the river? It'd take me forever to get to Ellenbrook! I'm over near Thornlie way, thanks

the one this company held before the Ellenbrook one was at Canningvale Showgrounds and there's another company (the original one that's Australia Wide) that hold them in Fremantle. It's not as big as the Belmont or Craigie ones but it's still worth the trip.

Hi jules19690 the Tiny Treasures markets are indoors at the Canning Showgrounds in Cannington. There next one is Sunday October 25th from 9am-12pm. www.tinytreasuresmarket.com.au I don't think they have them anywhere but here and then in 2010 they have new products & services aimed at babies and children as well as the pre-loved stuff
