I'm in a cafe. There's a quirkily attractive man at next table. I apologise in advance for DD's noise disturbing his reading. He smiles and we have a short chat about kids. I ask if he has any. He replies

"No kids yet, they're all in protein form."

I assumed that he meant sperm. I think he was trying to be funny, not gross. I wish I'd had a chance to ask.

lol I actually like that answer... wasnt really obscene as some can be and I would like his sense of humor in it all. Better than a simple No and back to what he was doing which is what he could have done.

I also thought maybe he meant his partner was pregnant? Ah, weird and cute, my favourite combination in a man.
