Hi All

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy thank you cards where I can attach actual photos? Not just upload them but actually stick them on?

I was thinking of sending out generic thank you cards but wanted to customise it with a photo of the actual people I'm sending the card to - if that makes sense. The photos were taken at my son's baptism and I had him take photos with each of the guests. I thought it'd be a nice touch to send out thank you cards with the photo of each guest with my son in it.

I’m not too sure… but if you’re crafty, you could try just getting a normal blank hallmark thankyou card, and get a Stanley knife or craft knife and make 4 diagonal slits at the size of the photo on the card and then tuck the corners of the photo through? Just an idea. original.gif

that's not a bad idea, thanks!

I bought my thank-you card blanks for DS2's baby shower / birth pressies at good Ol' Kmart. In the stationary dept, they sell packs of 15 or 20 (cant remember) card and envelope sets. Not dear at all...maybe $7 or $8?

Then I just did my thank you photo in PhotoShop, printed 40 or so at Big W for about 15cents ea...bought myself a gluestick and literally just spend 20 mins sticking them to the cards.

Photo was sepia on a 'buff' coloured card...looked lovely IMHO wink.gif

Another great idea would be to print out individual photos & then purchase the frame cards ( ive seen them at papaperie, kiki k etc...) & then personalise them that way original.gif

I was going to say the same thing as Electro!!
I got a pack of 50 plain white cards from Kmart and stuck B&W photos on myself using double sided sticky. Very effective and VERY CHEAP compared to cards designed to place your own photo into. I guess it depends how many you have to make, too. I've seen these in specialty card shops- but yes, not cheap!

My only problem was that the cards I bought were slightly shorter than the 6x4 prints, so had to chop a bit off each with the guillotine wacko.gif But worth doing for the money saved I thought...

Good luck!

Spotlight and Riot Art & Craft both sell blank card you can use to make your own.

Another option for attaching the photo is a to use photo corners. You can buy these from kmart etc and they can in a roll in a box (about 200 to a box). You just stick them to the card and then slot the photo in. The advantage is that your guests can then easily take the photo of the card and frame it later.
