Full Version: Happy for my son

My son 7 is playing half time at the Port Power vs Western Bulldogs Wizard cup this friday night.
They are playing a modified auskick match. And they have to do a wall of honour where they line up at the gate and either Bulldogs or Port players run through.
Hope it's Port as that is my son's favourite team.
Dh is going with him and my older son and me will be watching from the grandstand.
He is rapt!

I'll bet he feels 10 feet tall and bulletproof at the moment

It was fantastic.
We ran down to the end they were playing before they came out and another mum and me hightailed chairs to get to fence line to take pics. I took 30, couldn't help myself. He even kicked a goal. WOOHOO!
They had a great time. The kids so enjoyed themselves and would keep looking up into the grandstands in awe I think. They then lined up and did a guard of honour when the Port Power came out again. Jayden would have loved that, he is a port supporter.
They were on such a high and the parents were too.
A great experience and a very proud mum!
