I was just about to enrol my two year old in our local playgroup here in Secret Harbour, but have just been given the go ahead and are about to start building in Settlers Hills YAY!!

So am thinking instead of forming friendship here in Secret Harbour only to break them in about 10 months or so we may as well come straight to Baldivis and start playgroup now.

So can anyone recommend a nice friendly playgroup?

we used to go to the one held at the Baldivis Church and all i ncan say is it was fantastic the bEST playgroup i have ever been too. the ladie sthat run it are fantastic and each week you do craft and all sorts all provided by the church.

we are moving to secret harbour in a few weeks, so cant help you will the details for any in baldivis. but was hoping that you would be able to pass on details for the one in secret harbour? Im wanting to join one for dd3 and dd1

I do have details for sh playgroup. I can't give you a personal recommendation but I know two women who spoke very highly of it.

Which Church is it in Baldivis? What denomination (sorry don't know the area yet)

it is the church on baldivis road. you do not have to be a member of the church to go and alot of Mums in the area go and it suits all ages. it just costs a couple of dollars each time yo go and a piece of fruit.

we go to settlers hill playgroup on a thursday morning. they have a wednesday session too. its at the community centre on arpenture dr.

I go to the Baldivis Church one (twinoski i thought i recognised your twins names - your mum took them sometimes didn't she?) It's $4 per week, free under 12 months and a piece of fruit. It's just off Baldivis Road just before the fifty road turn off. You don't miss the big sign. There's a $10 once a year fee to cover insurance etc and is from 9:30-11am on Tuesdays during the school term. The kids have free play then morning tea, followed by storytime and craft (or more play if they prefer) and then songs at the end.

another vote for the Baldivis Church Play Group. Nothing Religious about it, but an EXCELLENT playgroup. So well organised, sooooo much for the kids to do and it is run by ladies from the church so you don't have to "do stuff" IYKWIM. They always have a cuppa and a bickie/slice for mums. Arts and Crafts, babies room, toddler room, fenced outside play - it is huge.

BUT in saying that I received a letter last week that because the PG was SOOOO popular they have to restrict numbers. So if you are interested, call them NOW.

Thanks for that, I have booked into the secret harbour one on a tuesday, apprantley they can be quite clicky there, but i will give it a go as I would like something that is close to home.

There used to be one on the Cnr of Arpenteur and Huxtable Tce but I heard the other week that that location is no longer available for hire.
