It really hits you in the guts when another mother dies, doesn't it? So devastating that her little fellow won't remember his mum - it must have been gut wrenching for her to leave her babies behind.
Truly my worst nightmare... RIP Kerryn and I'm happy that she had time to put together some memories for her kids. Life is just not fair some times.

It probably doesn't mean much at this time of immediate loss - but Kerryn has left those children an amazing legacy.
Not only her athletic success but also the gift of life she gave their son and brother Cooper.
My thoughts are with her husband Greg and I truly hope he can find comfort in his children both now and as time progresses.
Yes, I saw it today.
How sad.
It is so so tough reading about people losing their fight with any cancer, but for me, mothers with young children with breast cancer really hits home.
My thoughts are with her family.

I was lucky enough to have known Kerryn as she did some sports presentations at our school and really encouraged active lifestyles.
May your rest peacefully Kerryn and may your family hold the memories they have of you close to their hearts and in the minds forever.
Run free.
