I am wanting to have a browse at a Pandora bracelet ... okay, let's be honest, I will no doubt buy one! But let me humour DP with the "I am just looking" first cool.gif

Any ideas of Canberra stockists?

I know that Ladybird in Woden stock the Chamilia ones.

Help me spend my money (oh, that's right, I don't have any! But don't let that stop you, it never deters me blush.gif )
brazen
mcglades in the city do, but be warned - don't order anything in specially! dh tried to for christmas and by the time he went in to pick them up they'd sold them on him!!!!

now you could always do what i did and come to mmm and buy it up there biggrin.gif
Jo
Karen, can you believe that right now, I just want to stay at home? blink.gif

We just had 6 nights away with the 4 kids, in Melbourne. Then DP and I thought we deserved to rejuvenate alone, and did 2 nights in Sydney (Billy Elliot was fantastic!) and all I want is to sleep in my own bed!

Gold Coast ... I am sure I would be sick of my own bed again by then!
brazen
OMG look at my post count!!! dev (6).gif laughing2.gif
Jo
And I was looking recently and noticed I reached a lousy 8000! Well done biggrin.gif
brazen
congrats on your 8K, i remember those days lol.

what did you get up to in melbourne? we had a great - if exhausting - time there with the kids last month...
Jo
You can remember that far back? tongue.gif

We did ScienceWorks (fantastic - like Questacon only better maintained and cheaper!), the Children's Garden at the Botanic Gardens (puts Canberra and Sydney to shame), Luna Park (ugh - my children have no fear and being over the "maximum minimum height" went on EVERY ride, some of them without me!), up that stinking VERY high tower, to the aquatic centre, and I am sure there was more, but that was a week ago now, so my memory (unlike yours, recalling your 8000 post days!) is faded.
brazen
i only had 1 or 2 children back in the olden days laughing2.gif my memory was much better!

hooray for having 'under minimum height' children grin.gif
Jo
Do you think I should change the title of this thread yet?
brazen
nah give it at least one more topic change

oh and just to bring it back on topic. pay no attnetion to the stockists listed on the pandora site, the gungahlin place doesn't have them and don't ask him or you won't be out of there in under 30 minutes laughing2.gif adn the european jeweller in belco (toward kmart) has another brand or two of beads which will fit but not pandora

I had a look at them at McGlades in Canberra Centre, and they had all sizes of the bracelets there to try on to see which size you are. They have a fairly good range of beads too. My mum and I also went out to look at them in one of the jewellers in Manuka. They were less then helpful and didn't have an made up so you could try them on with beads, to see what size and how they look.

If you go to www.gilletts.com.au they have stacks of beads and also show how many are in stock. My cousin has bought from them and had delivery the next day.

I am getting one for Mothers Day from mum and DH, can't wait!!!
~Sorceress~
Diamond Rose in Gungahlin (the Big W building) have them - I dropped in last week to get a new bead for my mother's bracelet and the lady there was very helpful. They also stock a different brand with compatible beads so there's a different range to choose from (great for me because Mum seems to have all the ones I think she'd like!). biggrin.gif
brazen
ohhhh kristen wub.gif thank you! (i'm sure g won't laughing2.gif )

PS: the gungahlin one i was talking about 3was the one next to coles

I have never heard of Pandora Bracelets cry1.gif
fairy bread
The jewellery shop in City Link @Queanbeyan has them. Not 100% sure what brand, but I picked up a brochure with charm/bead thingys for them.

My DH wub.gif bought me a Pandora Bracelet from Diamond Rose last Monday. The lady there was lovely and took heaps of time with us even though it was nearly closing time. Now to add beads it is looking very bare at the moment.
cheers

Dimiteries Tugg & Queanbeyan have them. But when I checked prices the other week - they were more expensive (significantly - like $390 instead of $335 for a silver 20cm bracelet) than McGlades (Civic) or Gillets (on Line - with free delivery). Apparently there was a price rise on 1 April and Dimirtires don't buy the braclets then sell them to us, they simply sell them for Pandora's, so the price rise was immediate.

Sorry about the spelling.......
brazen
if what i've heard is true then the prices should be the same at all the shops

I've never heard of Pandora bracelets but I'm guessing they are the pretty ones that have a name put on them with beads?

If so, I have a beautiful one that I got here. So happy with the price and service - I chose everything myself. I have pics of mine available if you want to see.
