DD showed me her bottom, middle teeth tonight and told me they were sore. When I looked at them, one is quite woobly!! ohmy.gif She hasn't banged her mouth or knocked her teeth, (as far as I know).

I thought kids were supposed to lose their first teeth between 6 - 7!

She cut her first teeth at 11 1/2 months....don't know if that is relevant. She is also on ALOT of medication for her Epilepsy.

Should I be making an appointment at the dentist on Monday????

My Besties DD aged 4.5yrs lost her first tooth ohmy.gif Now, that's early, lol!

But then my nieces were around 6yrs aswell, so I thought that was the average.

My dd lost her two bottom two in quick succession just before she turned 5. There was one other child at kinder who had lost a tooth before her. She is 5 and a half now and her top two are wobbly. Only a couple of her friends have lost teeth so far, so it is reasonably early but not terribly.

My DS lost both his bottom two middle teeth last year just after he turned 5. He is now 5.5, and has lost on of his top teeth. The other top tooth is also about to fall out.

Nope not too early. My DS lost his first two teeth at about 4.5yo. His adult teeth could be seen just below the gum when they fell out, and were through within a week.

It's nothing to worry about, when my boy nearly knocked his teeth out when he was 4 I took him to the dentist and he told me after they did x-rays that his would be falling out soon naturally anyhow. Apparantly anytime from 4.5 is normal - it all depends on when the adult teeth are ready to come through!!

Enjoy your visit from the tooth fairy!! smile1.gif
