OK I know this topic has been done to death, but I'm crap at searching for stuff on EB.

I'm looking for somewhere to stay on the South Coast after Christmas (peak season). Must have:
* shaded pool (doesn't have to be indoors, just an area that is shaded for toddler to splash in)
* cabins or on-site vans - I don't care about bathrooms, I just want to separate the toddler and baby at bedtime. And not too $$$.
* walking distance from beach suitable for swimming.

Any recommendations?

My recomendation would be for Barlings Beach Caravan Park, just outside of Tomakin - Not sure about the shaded swimming pool but the beach only about 100mtr away (if that)
It is virtually waveless and a very clean, it also has rock pools for investigating.

Another good, real SOUTH Coast park is at Pambula Beach - The Holiday Hub

The only thing is that the beach itself is not great for swimming for littlies, but it is not too far to walk along the beach to the river mouth, which is better.

There are two caravan parks on Corrigans Beach at Batemans Bay ... but I did not notice a shaded pool at either. Corrigans is a good, "tame" beach.
