Hi Everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has seen either Dr Ann or Dr Ian Crawshaw?

Sophie has been sick for quite some time (has an awful cough and an almost constantly runny nose!) and we finally convinced the GP to refer us. She referred us to Dr Rosier but he couldn't see us until May next year :gasp: but they suggested Tim McDonald but he has closed his books. We thought of Jenkins (he saw Soph at birth) but he's closed his private practice! So we ended up at the Crawshaws. And we got in within 2 weeks so I was pleased with that! Any comments??

TIA

Well I just called and checked and we are booked in to see Iain. Mmmm - pity. It sounds as if Ann is great. Well I will just be a very pushy Mum and demand some answers and if I don't get them I will make another appointment to see Ann!

We had Dr Crawshaw when the twins were born and he was great - he was happy to answer any questions we had in a straight forward way and was easy to talk to.

I had Ann as my pead when she was here in Bris (2000), and found her to be lovely. She is very thourough, and a very nice lady. I was disapointed to learn that she had moved to Canberra, as I had wanted her to be our other children's pead as well.

I had Dr Hufton when my first was born by CS for transverse lie and minor followup issues, he was very professional and sensible but I just didn't have a warm fuzzy feeling about him.

For my second baby (now 10wo) I had Dr Ann Crawshaw (CS after failed VBAC and uterine rupture) and she's FANTASTIC. Professional and sensible but also friendly and reassuring.
