DS1 is in his big bed and he ends up lying in every which direction. This means he gets out of his blankets and during 2 degree nights I am worried about him getting too chold. I don't think he knows how to put himself back under the blankets.
Any advice/tips? Cheers

oil heaters are great, I've taught my two from the start that going near them is a no go zone and to this day both of them haven't touch it. also dressing them very warm helps, my DS is 3.8yrs old and I have him in an all in one suit with a long sleeve t shirt and pants and socks underneath and i feel his skin in the morning his nice and warm

Those all in one polar feelce pajamas with a singlet/t-shirt underneath keep my little houdini warm.
I got the ones for my DS from Target, but I have also seen them at Best & Less.

Snugtime blanket sleepers!
http://www.snugtime.com.au/home.htmlMy DD is nearly 3 and still does the same thing. All you do is put warm PJ's etc on and the blanket sleeper goes on top - no need for blankets.
Has been a lifesaver for us.

I had the blanket sleepers for the last 2 years and they were fantastic!
This year though he seems to have actually learnt to pull the blankets over himself. I think that was purely coz he wont go to bed with clothes on at the moment (I know its crazy!!!!) so he had to learn to keep the blanket on.
