Hi,

Unfortunately come begining of next year I need to get back to work. I don't particularly want to as my DS will only be 3 1/2 - 4 months old and I envisioned being able to be at home with him until he was at least 6 months old, if not 1 year. So I am after any suggestions of what I can do job wise, but still have my son with me. I can't guaruntee that my husband will be home at any one time as he can be called into work at anytime. So I really would prefer something that I can either do at home or take my son with me. I asked about this when I was pregnant and got some replies about Tupperware and other similar things, I don't know though if I would be able to take my son with me to tupperware parties!!

Sorry for the long post, but I really am starting to run out of time to find something. I really am hoping not to have to put DS in CC, moneywise it doesn't make much sense to pay half my pay for him to be looked after, also I don't really like the idea of other people bringing up my son, IYKWIM.

the cleaner we had to help us before our open houses brought her 6wk old with her and i was happy for that to happen. what i didn't like about it was that when she had to spend time settling the baby we would pay for that time but not have it made up at the end (as she had another job to go to). i wouldn't have minded if we'd got 2 hours worth of work rather than 2 hours of her being at the house.

i have a friend who does some sort of financial work / bookkeeping type thing and she takes her little girl with her without a problem (now 5 mo i think)

personally i would never have been able to take my babies to work, it just would have been a nightmare! lol
