I found myself blubbering today... We have just moved our DD into her own room! (sniff, sniff)

My DH wasn't getting any sleep, so it was about time and she had nearly outgrown her bassinett.

She's not so tiny anymore. I see now why people say they grow up so fast!

I didn't think it would make me so emotional!!!

Very brave of you Ness!

I had Will in with us until he was 6 months!

Catch up on the boys in my diary!

Awww Vanessa, your little girl is growing up original.gif

Rest assured you aren't the only one getting all teary up with each new step they take. I found in those first few nights it was hard to get used to Bella not being at the end of the bed.

Mind you, big sook that I am, it took all my strength and lots of blinking not to cry at a little concert her playgroup did last year. Something about her waving her little star during Twinkle Twinkle really got me...lol Still trying to work out how not to tear up this year!!

Cheers,

Nicola

I, too, got all teary (read 'drought breaker style') when we moved DS into his own room when he was about the same age. DH also remembers how often I would get him to go in and check that he was breathing - he slept better than when he was in with us, lol.

One big step in a huge journey ..... original.gif

Cheers,
Helen.
