I have just found a great place on the southside (Brisbane)The Royal Mail at Tingalpa on Wynnum Rd that has lots of FREE activities for kids including craft activities, songs, an organised playgroup during the week as well as a huge play ground for the kiddies to run around in. You can sit and have a cuppa, cake and a chat with the other mums while the kids play. We've also been for their buffet dinners and breaky. Great menus for the kids and mums and dads too. (Plus no entry fee!!!!!!)

But it has me wondering what else is out there? I only accidently stumbled across the Royal Mail and would love to know what other gems are out there that we can share!

Wow that place sounds fantastic - I've been wondering the same. We did go for lunch at the Hogs Breath at Carindale the other week and there is a little room with toys and a TV. The kids enjoyed it and we were able to relax and have lunch but it's no where near like the Royal Mail. I've heard the Pineapple Bar (i think it's around the gabba somewhere) they have a play area near where you eat but haven't been there yet. I'll be keeping my eye out to see any replies.
