Has anyone used this company? Thoughts?

And also welcome any comments about renovating at all, looking to extend.

Nope!

We are umming and ahhhing about it at the moment actually. We have had some very rough plans drawn up by a mate and now are trying to work out though if we should get a draftsman or an archietect in to do some proper ones. We where told the difference being a drafstman would draw what you wanted but an architect would give you ideas etc. Still no idea about that one.

Also put Dh off abit when he found out that if we extend then we would only get half back what we spent, initially anyway, obviously long term prices would slowly go up.

Its a big decision that we keep wavering on

I would suggest contacting the Dept Fair Trading and finding out whether any complaints have been lodged against them. PHI should provide you with a license number. Only use a licensed builder. You could also, ask PHI for a few of his clients and contact them for feedback or even ask to see some references. I know PHI as they have active dealings with my company so I am confident they would have something they would share.
