is it worth going to?
how much does it cost?
is anyone thinking of going this afternoon?
i have the afternoon off work without kids and was thinking of having a stickybeak, never having been before, but not sure if it would be worth it.
anyone want to meet up out there for a wander?

Hi
I went last year - filled in a couple of hours and I scored quite a few freebies. I am planning on going again this year so I guess it wasnt that bad - wish the entry fee wasnt so high though.
I dont plan on going until sunday so if anyone goes before then and wants to give us a review that would be great.
Have a good day.

I went this afternoon and I was VERY disappointed, in fact I feel really ripped off, having to pay $14 to get in. There was seriously about half the exhibitions as last year, pretty much bugger all freebies (2 tiny sachets of aromababy and a nappy if you go into the change room). There were 3 photographers, 3 party-plan toy sales and not much else - the Budawang Building was very empty. I have just emailed the organisers of KidzExpo giving them feedback on this year's Expo, I feel so strongly about it.
My advice - save your $14.

I am going to help at the ABA stall this afternoon so i will report back and let you know what i think. I wouldnt be going at all if i had to pay that much to get in.

it's a lot of $$ isn't it carol? especially as it's really designed for baby shops and product manufacturers to show their goods...

I have to say from a stall holders perspective it's pretty dismal. For what we paid (which was HEAPS) the interest is just not really there. I am doing well because it's a great product, but others on the other hand are not

i think they've overpriced it ( i might be willing to pay that much in sydney or melbourne where there woudl be so much more to see) but also their website is soooo vague about what's there! so there's nothing to sell me on it.
glad to hear you're doing well though mel

i need to have that party and get ryan some new nappies sometime when i have some $$!

I also am quite disappointed with the expo.
Glad I only paid $7 (had a 2 for 1 voucher). Although for what is there, that was still too much.
Except for your stall Mel. LOL!!!

I too was very disappointed. I am very glad i didnt pay to get in. I didnt buy anything or even get an idea for something later on. It was definately aimed at the higher end of the market.
having said all of that i got to catch up with lots of people and spent hours just talking to to people so that was great LOL
