DH has decided that he doesn't like our baby names - for the second time this pregnancy!! AUGH!!! he's found the name Trinity for a girl that he likes.. it's growing on me I must admit...
Just wondering what the opinion of the greater EB world is on this name.... Surname B***hill. I'd possibly use my fave name of Erynn as a middle name.....

A dear friend of mine named her 3rd child Trinity.
It is a gorgeous name and her DD certainly matches it.

I don't like it at all. It means three, it has religious overtones and it screams "I was named after the chick in the Matrix movie!"
How about Verity? Or Katrina, you could call her Trinny as a nick name.

I love it. I know two little ones named Trinity and it really suits them. They both get Trin for short.

im not a fan at all..
My cousin named her daughter Trinity, and I love the sound of the name.
It might attract the nn. Trinny though - which to me sounds like Tranny, rofl... Just something to be aware of, but I do love the name.

Wow - so many varied opinions... FWIW - DH and I have never seen to movie the Matrix.. no idea about any characters names in it LOL Guess though anyone can pull a lot of names and find a movie with it in it...
Not overly worried about the religious overtones. Our DD's name is the same as an Indian goddess and our families are very religious so would love that connotation...
It's just on the drawing board at the moment.. more comments welcome though.. sooo had our girls names picked out since DS was born 7 years ago - it's hard to change!!!

I like it, but wouldn't use it because it just reminds me so much of the Matrix. Just wondering what your first name is though as you've got Treens on your signature and am wondering if Trinity will be close to your name?? Not a major issue but just curious I guess.

It's ok.. Reminds me of Trinity Lutheran College around the corner from my place. It's a great school, but thats what i associate(sp?) it with.
What about Trinette?

I Like it. I'm not particularly put off by movies or actor unless it was someone MASSIVE.

Love it, love it, love it!
And I have only taught ONE Trinity, who was a gorgeous girl. As opposed to all the 'top ten', common names that I have taught hundreds of...

I don't like the name. Don't mind your middle name but would spell it "Erin".

It's too religious for me but does sound pretty if that doesn't put you off at all. I don't think of the matrix as I have never been able to sit through the movie.

Ditto. I've never sat through the whole film either, so don't associate it with the character/movie at all.
FWIW I quite like it and the religious connotation is lovely IMO. Although, I have to say I much prefer the look of "Trinity Erin" as opposed to the spelling Erynn.
