I am going to host an Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 22 May at my home (Northside - Belconnen).

I will get back to everyone with more details, but just thought I would "claim the date" and give everyone a head's up.

Hope to see some of you here!

Hi Jo, is your Morning Tea still on? I am free tomorow.
MummaSgettie
Jo - I'd love to come too if you're still doing it.
~mimo~
I'd love to come as well if it's still on.

If so, what can I bring and what's the address?
Jet07
I may be interested too.
Jo
I am so very sorry! I have been flat out with work and uni. I really cannot manage this tomorrow. I wish I could - I was looking forward to having a relaxing catch-up.

My sincere apologies (and thanks to Steph for contacting me to let me know - unimaginable, but I have not even been online much of late!)

I rang Jo yesterday about this since it was in my diary too!

At present, this is a cause very close to my heart so I am happy to host one at my place (Weston Creek) from 10.30-midday. The weather is forecast to be cool but fine so we will possibly go outside where there is more space for kids to run amok play (bring jackets and hats). The back yard is fenced and reasonably kid/baby safe.

A food contribution to share would be welcome. I will provide tea, coffee, cocoa and apple juice.

Please bring a cash donation for the Cancer Council (gold coin per person or $5 per family). I will have receipt books if you'd like to claim a tax deduction (including for larger contributions).

PM for my address and ph no if you don't already have it.

Steph

Thank you Steph! wub.gif

I wish I had the time to come - but with 3000 words due Friday, and two exams coming up ... I had better get my head down and study.
MummaSgettie
Sounds good Steph, thanks.

I still have your address in my PM's too.
Jet07
Tks Steph - I still have your address too and will try to get there by 10am but am getting a smash repair quote at 9:30 at Mitchell after backing into a pole today rant.gif . I will bring the mini meringues we just baked - although it was my first ever attempt and they did collapse even though I knew what to be careful of!

Sorry I have another commitment now tomorrow. I hope you all have a lovely morning tea.
