OK - didn't know where else to put this so I thought you lovelies might be able to help me. Either with the actual problem or where on EB to post this.

I have a good friend who has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is a really strong person and is putting on a brave face but I can tell that it has really rattled her (as it would!). She had her first lot of Chemo last week and it has made her awfully sick. I want to make her a care package but I'm not sure what to put in it. I was thinking of the really helpful stuff so I am asking if anyone has been through this or knows of someone who has and what helped them. I was thinking things like lip balm, peppermint tea (for the nausea) and from here I'm just stumped. Please help me - I am feeling very useless ATM and I want to show I care without actually being in her face IYKWIM?

TIA,

Don't know if she is eating properly, but maybe cook her a few meals?

Um I am afraid that I can't be much help in the skin care field sad.gif

If you wanted a cuddly little furry friend to pop in though I would recommend http://www.myteddy.com.au very cute, with a personal touch. My daughter got one for her first birthday and they really are just lovely!!

How about some scented candles or a oil burner with oils used for nausea, calming and peace. Not sure what would be good, but a decent shop such as Inner Harmony should be able to help. Also a CD or home made complilation of calm soothing music.

What about an eye pillow? the kind that are filled with wheat/lavender.? I love to use mine when I have headache or want some relaxing time plus it blocks out any light.
Perhaps a really nice journal for her to vent her thought?. What a lovely idea from you to show you care.
