Ok we have a girls name set in concrete but are still trying to decide what to name this little tot if it is a boy.

Our current front runner is Thomas. My only issue with it is that our last name starts with an S so saying them together kinda makes it sounds like the name is 'Tomma'. Am I being ridiculously pedantic here?? Especially that he will almost certainaly be known as 'Tom' with Thomas on the birth certificate??

Our other boys at home are Luke and Sam. Does it go with those names??

I love Thomas and it goes great with Luke and Sam. I wouldn't worry too much either as definitely prefer Thomas to just Tom, as a full name.

We love it too!! A nice traditional & classic name. Our Tom gets Tucky, Tuckster, Tommy, Thompson & of course Thomas!! Its an incredibly popular name & it seems to suit all.

Why dont you just call him Tom. That is what I did.

I have a Sam so I can guarantee you that Sam and Tom sounds great.

Well ny DS is Thomas and i call him Tom/TomTom/Tommee and DH calls him Tommy.

so the is nothing wrong with Thomas and using it short.
