Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew what happened to the flowers and bulbs after Floriade is finished? I am assuming that the bulbs are left and then lifted to be stored for next year. What happens to all those beautiful flowers? My DD wanted to pick a bunch of flowers when we were at Floriade and it just made me wonder what do they do with them.

Thanks
Sharon.

Hey Mitchy,

Long time no see original.gif

I know that some of them they sell, more the bulbs and plants, but I did also hear once that they give some of the flowers to nursing homes etc. Not sure if this is true though.

cheers
Alexandra

Hi Alex,
I have been lurking for a long time blush.gif
I am trying to get motivated to make it to some of the get togethers again.
Thanks for replying, do you know whether they sell the bulbs to the public or where I could find out about it?
I looked at their website but couldn't find anything .
Thanks again.
Hope to see you at a get together soon!
Sharon.
