Well, the title says it all. I have rain drops coming through the roof.

I really need your advice on what I can do next. I have a very large bucket catching the drops, but with further rain forcast for tonight, I don't want to wake to a flood tomorrow moring.

Who do I call? Insurace, SES ? I've got no idea. Or do I just let it drip?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

SES would be my first call. I know when Mum's roof has been leaking she has actually put a small drill hole in each segment that is leaking so as not lose the ceiling from the weight of the water pooling IYKWIM. wacko.gif

I agree, ring your insurer and/or the SES and ask their advice. When my roof leaked, I also punched holes in the ceiling to relieve the pressure from the weight of the water - I will not tell you the rest of the story, but that was in rather significant storms.

Thank you. I called a number I got off the SES website, but not sure who I ended up talking to, but they were very helpful. They sent a fire truck around and the firemen have climbed up on the roof to investigate. It was only a cracked tile (one that had been patched together already)- boy did I feel a bit silly.

LOL s_m!!!!

Glad to hear it was only a broken tile Sharkie.
If it's any consolation I would've panicked too/not known what to do. Now I do though, get yummy firemen around...........

LOL Steph, I was saying the same thing to DH last night, he didn't find it very funny though. tongue.gif
