I've read 3 but really enjoyed them
Measure of a Man - Sydney Poitier
Lucky Man - Michael J Fox
Don't know if it's biographical but I think it's her mother's story, Joy Luck Club - Amy Tan
Mao's Last Dancer by Li Cunxin is a fascinating read.
I read and enjoyed Margaret Whitlam's biography, written by Susan Mitchell is another I enjoyed.

One that jumps out to me was the Stuart Diver autobiography. He was the guy who survived the Thredbo landslide... such a powerful read and an amazing guy!
I read the Bob Geldoff autobio years ago and realy enjoyed it even though I'd never really been a fan.
Schapelle Corby's really made me sympathise with her and other prisoners in foreign gaols - scary stuff.
I read 'Call Me Elizabeth' recently - sorry can't remember the author but supposed to be a semi-fictionalised recount of the life of a suburban UK mum/ prostitute. A really interesting read even if I didn't agree with her rationale for her choices.
I really enjoy bio / autobio and have read lots of great inspirational ones and a few cruddy yawns (Princess Di type ones would be an example of a waste of time IMO).
Check out my link to bookcrossing if you're interested in sharing books and thoughts with others (it's free).
