Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had their kids in wonbats playschool in weetangera or Possoms playschool in Evatt. I just wanted to hear what your experience was with them.
Thanks in advance
Gabe

My ds-2 went to Possums play school at Evatt last year, he went terms 1 & 2, but after that we dropped out. He only went one day per week, because it quite expensive, but apart from that he wasn't enjoying himself, he's usually a very outgoing and easy going boy, but when he was there he was always very quiet and wouldn't join in on activities unless he was told to, where usually he just invites himself! Spoke to the teacher and she said he was always like that, and not to worry. But i didn't particularly like the teacher either, she came across a bit cold and uncaring. That was just my thoughts. I don't know what it was but we got to a stage he didn't even wanted to go, so at the end of the term i pulled him out and we never looked back. He became he's usual ratbag in no time. This year he started pre-school and loves it to bits, he would go every day if he could. I was recently talking to another teacher and was telling her about my ds going to possums and she asked me who the teacher was and once i told her, i was told she wasn't the best with little kids. Apparently she very good with older kids but not with the younger ones. Good luck.

Obviously I'm a bad mum for not knowing this, but what is playschool? Is it like private pre-school?
unique_gem
emd playschool is like a 3 yr old pre school program. Always private and usually for about 2 1/2 hurs or 3 one to 2 times a week.
