Hi ladies,

If any of you formula feeding mummys have formula tins that you would be throwing away i would be very happy to grab them off you. I am starting doing arty things to them for christmas, and despite the fact that my two are big milk guzzlers we don't have enough tins here for me to do all the things i want to do.. I am especially after any that have different colour lids - as mine are heinz and have red lids. I know the Nan have clear lids (which are great) - but really any colour are great. I will pick up the Heinz ones too though as i won't be too choosy!

I will pick up!!

Thanks in advance,

Rach Tounge1.gif

Rach,
I have one with a red lid and one with a clear lid that you can have. I threw 3 empty tins out with the last recycling (I knew that I shoudl have listened to my inner-hoader and kept them!)
I am in Rivett but work in Deakin if that is more convenient for you.

I have just thrown out 6 empty tins in the recycling last week! I shall keep the empty ones from now on if you want them. Mine have Green lids as they are karicare!

NorthernLife
Amanda - can i please have them - i can pick up from Rivett. Let me know when is convenient. I can pick up anytime on Thurs, Fri, Sat or Sun. Thanks :-)

brazen - once you switch to the green lids can i get those off you when you finish with them?! Thanks - I will pass on the Milo tin - thanks anyhow, but i am mainly sticking to the formula tins.

Surreygirl - thanks - if you can keep them in future that would be great. Green lids will be fabulous.

Thanks ladies!!

Hi Rach,

I have one empty Nan tin and one half full nan tin but my little one is on Full cream milk now. So if you would have any use for the formula you are welcome to it. I am in Palmerston if you are interested.

Regards,

Nic

Hi there,

We use Karicare Gold which have yellow lids if you want them. The downer with them is the way the inside lid seal thingy comes off. It leaves a section of metal on one side IYKWIM? But if the lids are really what you need these may be OK. Let me know and I'll start saving them. Just threw out the last lot, sorry! But we use 1 a wek so won't take long to have a few.....

Hey Rachie,
What is it that you are doing with them?

I have about 20-30 tins all lined up along the top of our kitchen cupboard - Red heinz ones - DH is a huge hoarder and is sure there is a purpose for each and every one of them. I told him he could keep them if they were out of the way (I can't reach them up there so you can't much more out of the way) original.gif

I live in Yass but could drop them over to you as I am over that way 1-2 times a week.

girls heres a pic of one that i did up for a friend's little girls birthday. I put a beaded trim around the lid after this pic was taken and it looked a lot more girlie after that..:

i am doing some up for christmas and for some friends who are pregnant. They are great to store things in and really personal, and easy to do!

Lauren - i would love the tins please!!!! how is the pregnancy going? everytime dp and i think of ttc again i tell him about you and that you have twins not much older than us etc etc but he still isn't quite ready!!! How do you find it with the boys getting to being almost 1? I would love to know how it is going!

Minniemoo - thanks!! That would be great.
nicoleiv

wow, that looks great Rach. I'm lucky if I can write my name, let alone do anything creative!!

We use NAN gold which has a gold lid. I'll start saving them for you. My little guzzle guts goes through about 3 per fortnight

NorthernLife
Nic - are you free for me to pick up tomorrow? Since you are so close i could just duck over.

Claire - thanks so much - gold lids would be great for my christmas tins!!

They are really easy to do - i think that the ribbons are good - because they disguise the joining of the paper!

Rach :-)
