WDYT of Peyton/Payton for a girl? We had planned for the name to be Arabella Sage, however close friends just had their baby girl 10 weeks early and called her that exact thing. Neither of us had discussed the name with each other, how odd?

So honest opinions on Peyton please, or suggestions for other "different" but pretty and not obscure names blush.gif .

Thanks
JustLynn
I really don't like Peyton. How about Patience?

Peyton reminds me of The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Sorry.

I love the Girls name Aurelia

Its Latin and means "Golden". YOu can also spell it with the (') over the E..

It pn Au-ray-lee-a.. (The AU as in Australia).

I agree that Peyton is from Hand That Rocks the Cradle.

I'm not sure unsure.gif sounds a bit American to me.

I didn't like Peyton, I go with Arabella means prayful or beautiful. Arabella also rhymes with Cinderalla

It is nice and pretty !

Peyton is my daughters name and I absolutely love it. She is blonde with blue eyes and I think her name is perfect for her. It was a name I had liked since I was in high school which is a very long time ago.

Good luck with your decision.

I hate it, sorry. Very American, very "Hand That Rocks The Cradle". I don't know how people find it pretty - it looks and sounds icky to me.

IMO "Peyton" has a very "Southern Belle" feel to it, which isn't my thing, but I don't mind it. original.gif

There was a book about naughty Arabella when I was a kid so I dislike the name a lot. I also dislike Peyton, but don't mind the suggestion of Patience.
Pinkbug
I think Peyton is gorgeous
