Hi

I can highly recommend Katya at La Bella Beauty salon at Kambah Village shops (out the back, behind woolies). She is reasonably priced.

Phone number 6231 4868.

The ladies at the Faces Day Spa in Woden Plaza are wonderful (it's the lovely place across from Betts and Betts shoes). Very helpful and they give honest advice. I had a re-shape recently and I just can't believe the difference!! I love the new look.

Hia, i was so impressed today original.gif

I normally pluck one painful hair at a time eyes watering lol and sometimes when i need a little guidance, i go to a salon, i've only been to one in Tugg who was great, but has closed down since.

So today i decided to try and wax them myself. I bought the wax you heat in the microwave and spread it on with a cotton stick, i was expecting the worst, half an eyebrow, wax in my eye, and most of all that it was going to frigging hurt!

Instead, i was brave, and really it didnt hurt, only a little, but not as much as i thought it would. I also waxed my lip too, and hurt alot less than the salon!

(i also used after oil)

So im very happy with myself and all up it cost me $15 for the supplies and the pot has heaps of waxes left in it! I just bought it from Target too btw. It took me about an hour, but felt great doing it at home.

Take care!!

Sounds like you used to go to the same place in tuggeranong where I used to go, i really liked it, went some where since where they did a shocking job (did look like they did anything) but because I was in such agony I said it was fine to get out of there...I will try out the ones in woden and kambah and if i'm not happy I will give home waxing a go myself...my hair dresser is finishing up soon too sad.gif

I have heard good things about the new salon in Tuggeranong, the new one down stairs outside the Myer entrance, (behind the escalators) I think they have frangipani's on the window. My friend wasnt too keen on their massage though, but the facial was nice.

Best of luck!
