* what's your favourite place to shop? All of them - I love to shop but get bored going to the same place again and again.
* your favourite place to have coffee?
Probably Mt Stromlo Cafe - their coffee is so much better than the last people who were up here - and thats as far as I get to have coffee lately.

* your favourite place to spend time with the kids?
Outside I guess. We all get bored being in one place at a time so we're always changing - inside, outside, the zoo, the park, Mt stromlo tracks, questacon, toys-r-us (DD hasn't worked out yet that you can take stuff home...)

* the last touristy thing you did?
Questacon on saturday - we have an annual membership and take DD regularly

* something you've always wanted to do here in canberra but haven't (yet)
Go rockclimbing at the indoor place, go riding around Lake Burley Griffin with Zoe, doing 'stuff' other than staying at home or being at work

* how long have you lived here?
Been here for 5 1/2 yrs now, but I was actually born here and was here for 14 years before we moved.

* north or south? (teehee!)

Re the Northside/Southside thing.....if you were born here, you would 'get it'....most of it is in jest....but a lot of the time there is a 'preference' for a side of town. Hey it's NO different to Bris, Melb or Syd....every place has a 'rivalry'.

I wouldn't take it too seriously....it's a Canberra thing

Rach, I have been here since I was 2 so I do get it original.gif In my experience though I have seen people get really worked up in all seriousness, not just in jest. I think when we (and I can do this also) whinge about driving to the *other* side of town that's when it's funny original.gif Although, with petrol being what it is at the moment, it is worth a whinge to drive to the evil south side wink.gif kidding, kidding original.gif

Hope no one takes that seriously original.gif
