Sandra - jolly jumpers are great, the girls absolutely loved them and seems Wil is the same. It comes with a clip-on hook thing and you just hook it over the edges of any door frames. I find it helps Wil bring up his wind too LOL, he just did a burp then. It doesn't teach them to walk, but it teaches them coordination, they figure out if I move my leg this way I go that way, etc. Plus when they start jumping it helps develop the muscles in their legs. But over all I think it's just fun for them, and gives them a bit of independence.

Will has just gone down for a nap

He woke up every 4 hours last night 9pm, 1am, then 5am, not too bad. I breastfed him at 9pm, then he had a top up of formula. Just formula at 1am, then breastfed at 5am, offered him a top up but he didn't want it. He normally doesn't drink much at that feed anyway. Just breastfed him again at about 9am did not offer any top up and now he's sleeping. So things are going well I think. I hope he sticks to this 4 hour routine.

hey marika did you know they made another movie of terry pratchett? the colour of magic. i watched half of it, i thought it was the whole thing on google but nope just the first half, im going to buy it anyway when i can find it but i was looking forward to watching the second half only to find out its not up yet DOH!

baker is 12 weeks old next monday he's so big! ooh i took some pics yesterday il go get one

the decision to have more kids or not: you have to consider if you can activly parent more kids... thats what has made me ok with not having any more kids. i dont think that i can parent more to the level of what they deserve. and DH is an active fantastic father, and he too feels that he has reached his limit. He wants to make sure that they each gets lots of attention etc... also i have to juggle sports, homework, school fees, boyfriends/ girlfriends/ puberty etc...

we are still BFing. Cant be bothered sterilising bottles etc... so will still keep going. Lily was sleeping thru then the past 2 night she has woken... i think its coz my milk is dropping (as are her wet nappies) but this has happened before so i think i will just go with the flow and keep feeding her.

i had one of those moments last night. I will never again hold my own child as a NB, or as an 8 week old. She is growing up and she is our last bub

donna- get yourself some super duper massive breast pads. you can get ones the size of a dinner plate. you can also get tops called boobie bibs. If you have got lots of milk- that is fantastic, just keep feeding and think of all the $$ you are saving!

Mel- you must feel like a new woman with that sleep! also those drugs that you are taking, dont want to go against what you feel, but they are serious drugs and are not just hand outs which is why the Dr prob said what he did. Normally if you do what the Dr says then the milk will increase, but when you have 2 other kids and lack of sleep then its a diff formula- ie you need a break!!

Sandra- be careful if you dont want them close together- we were preg after just 5m, and i was BF too! and using contraception. Did you try Bfing?

We are going to look at a house today, DH is superkeen, I'm not so sure I can be bothered moving and upping our mortgage THAT much..... it is in a very nice suburb, closer to our friends, but it is $$$ for what it is. I dont deal with change very well

No contraception here either, but then no DTD yet also. Too scared its not going to be 'as it was' down there, DH is getting impatient though so may have to give in to him soon. Still fully breastfeeding Tilly, haven't tried a bottle yet, not even EBM, but i know that isn't a safeguard against getting pregnant again.

Carolyn.Yeah I tried Breastfeeding, I even brought a breastpump with all intentions of Bf him, but he had other plans I think. Will try again when number 2 comes along.I was so disappointed though. I have never been on the pill and I don't think I ever will. We know the consequences of not using contraception I know when I ovulate so we just avoid DTD on those days, its worked so far. (touchwood )Cohen was planned . When does your period return when you breastfeed?

Gee Cohen is not a day sleeper, he fights to stay awake so much.He is asleep now, finally. Hope stays like that for longer than 40 mins so I can fold the washing.

My sister woke me by ringing though, but it was nice to talk to her. She's over in Esperance WA, her fiance does shift work, 10 days on 4 off I think, works for BHP and goes out on site. She told me they'd just bought a new car - Nissan Pathfinder 2008 - geeze some people have the life. God knows when we'd ever be able to afford a brand spankin new car. We just got rejected to change electricity companies because of DF's defaults on his credit rating for goodness sakes - how friggin sad is that. His credit rating really makes me angry. If we want to do anything it will have to be when I start working and I kind of resent that...

Kind of wish I'd gone over to WA when I had the chance, I could have a really high paying job over there with my qualifications. But I suppose money isn't everything.... it would help a great deal though!!!!

Ok well best get ready to pick the girls of and do the trek to drop them to their dad.

Hope you've all had fun at the meet up!

Teagan slpt from 9:30pm - 2am, 20min feed and then didn't wake again until 7am! of course I was still up coughing at 6am! I bet when I get rid of it she will wake early again!

The last 2 days my milk seems to have increased, I've gone from feeling normal to feeling full again at every feed! haven't changed anything, not taking anything, in fact Teagan is dropping her feeds to 4 hrly!

Alannah is at nanny's tonight and am wondering if DH and I could risk going out for dinner with Just Teagan!? She is pretty crappy and doesn't sleep much after about, oh NOW! but if I can get her to have a sleep at about 5pm then head off to the club at 6pm, feed her there while we're waiting for dinner, she might last long enough for us to eat it!! see how we go.

Don't worry tomsmum no DTD here either! but as we get more sleep and she is not hanging off me as much and when I get over this cold, I might feel like it. Poor DH.

Afternoon girls!

Photo shoot went great! Can't wait to see some the photos. Amelia kept doing her fake smile though, took a while to get some good shots of her. Got a couple nice ones of them together and then Ollie was a model for a lady that is starting up her own business. Not the best looking clothes in my opinion, but he still looked cute!

Went to the shops after as I had to get something for dinner, then remembered that nothing is open tomorrow! So had to get something for tomorrow too. Haven't done the grocery shopping yet. Was SO busy!! Kids everywhere (School holidays here). Had to get some more formula and the one we use was on clearance for $9.99!! Bargain!!

Just having something to eat. Then on with the housework!

Hi Ladies,

Well I hope everybody had a fab day at the meet up in sydney,

Last night Cooper must have felt my being upset he was crying so hard the hardest he has ever cried since he was born but he has done it on and off all day dont know if he is just out of sorts or what.

Today was alot better then yesterday I woke up early and got us ready to head in to BIGW to see if my SD card had been handed in and it had there was a book beside the computer that Im guessing the afternoon girl didnt know about and it was stuck in there waiting to see if anybody would clam it so happy I now have all my pics back now to put them all on the computer.

I went for my hair trial today and my hair looked so nice when she had finished she did it with my tiara and my vail on so it looked so good really pleased with how it looked and we took a photo of it so we can make sure it is the same on the day.

Im so tired I was ak from 2am just couldnt sleep got back to bed for about an hr from 530 to 630 but I will just have to get over it we are going out for dinner for my FILs birthday it is tomorrow but we are doing dinner tonight as FIL DF and BILs all going camping for the weekend I think I might head up to my mums for the weekend so Im not at home alone.

Well I better go and get some stuff ready for tonight so Cooper is easy to get ready and me too. might try to chuck in a kip too.

Joeleen, glad to hear the hair trial went well! And that you found the SD card! I lost mine from that hadd baby pics of Amelia on it, so I know how it feels.

Dinner is in the oven, have hung out some washing and about to fold Oliver's things. And probably feed him soon too.

ive got nothing to say. im cooking dinner and the traffic is shocking so DH isnt home yet

Sandra- that form of contraception is how we got Ellise and i think that is how Donna got Toby too but do what works for ya. Hormones make me go loopy so we are being careful too (condoms) and then it will be the VET for DH.

Expressed after I gave Oliver a bottle, he refused to BF again and got 80 from my good side and only 20 from the other. Am very happy with that, although, now is when he usually does BF, wonder how much I'll get during the day tomorrow.

Im glad you got your SD card back Joeleen i would have been so upset also . I lost a heap of photos a few months back and now triple copy them just incase .

When i was on my way home today DH called and said he could pick me up from blacktown on his way home from work so i didnt have to catch the bus , anyway we were in the lift and it was really crowded i have Noah in the sling and the old duck standing next to me was owwing and arring over noah ( cause he is damn cute who wouldnt ) anyway then Ethan called out from me cause it was squashed and he couldnt see me and Jake reassured him that i was rigt behind me and til then i she must have thought The boys were with someone else so she stuck her head over to nosey in the pram and see how old ethan was then looked from ethan to noah then jake and say gee you have your handsful . I thought she just being friendly and commenting on my boys but it was quickly followed but a dissaproving O dear and she was shaing her head and clicking her tounge .
I just had to laugh nosey old bat should keep her opinions to herself the boys were being little angels today if i do say so myself so its not like she had a reason to think i couldnt handled them any other day they are a bit feral and fighting with each other lol .

YUP!!! but i wouldnt change a thing! this time around we will be a bit more careful... strict contraception until after the weddings at the end of the year (well thats my plan anyway )

it was great meeting you girls today- ill post my pics tomorrow i must say that chocolate shop was the best! for the ones who didnt come today- i highly reccomend Max Brenners chocolate cafe - it was the best (i left with chocolate on my face! )

DH wants to make some wholemeal bread

i told him 2 cups of wholemeal and 1 cup of white- oh and you need to use the bread MIX

he gets the wholemeal breadmix but normal flour.

did i not make it clear that he needed bread mix

he says no- i should have said wholemeal mix and white mix. I did say that- i said bread MIX. he says it wasnt clear enough

and he wants sex- he now has me all annoyed coz he didnt listen (and its my fault of course!)

Men they never listen! well the only time they do listen is went you mention sex, there ears ping up then as well as something else

yesterday must have tired kaiden out, we got home just before 4 and he went to sleep at 4.30 with out any fuss (yippie) didnt wake until 8pm and of course wanted something to eat, feed him and josh took him in to our room to lay down and play with him but he fell asleep with out any fuss again (double yippie) at 9, woke at 4am for a feed back to sleep and is still asleep now but i can hear him starting to stir. wooohoo that was a fantastic afternoon and night with the little man.

Well dinner sucked last night the last time we went to this restaurant I swore I would never go back cos it sucked but I didnt have a choice as MIL chose it for FILs Birthday the meals was horrible and the service was bad I complained about my meal and ended up getting it for free but it wasnt worth $30 anyway and the worst part was that it wasnt even busy and there was heaps of staff on.

But on a good note cooper slept for 10hrs last night
and it was so nice to wake at a normal time he went down at 9pm and woke at 7am yeah.

DF has gone camping with his dad and his brothers and nephew so just a boys weekend and Im off to my mums so better get going have a good weekend guys.

Morning all, just been cleaning up as we have MIL and aunt,uncle, my mother and brother coming over for lunch today! Don't worry mum is doing all the cooking so my part is done.

Donna - no I don't scrapbook, I'm too indecisive and not creative enough! I also don't have a long enough concentration span for that either! I'm like a 5yr old! it took me ages to finish a photo book for mothers day!

Shan - Don;t you jsut hate the tut tut from the oldies! HELLO! back in thier generation people had a lot more kids than that! I'll never forget when DD1 fell off the end of the trolley at the supermarket right in front of 4 old ladies! god the looks would kill! I still don't let her do it now because of it.

Jodie - maybe we should from now on sae "sex" before every sentence and we might get through to them.
