So what do you think of the name Hazel Blu? The last name is 3 syllables and ends in "son".
TIA, Jodi

Love the Hazel, dislike the Blu a lot. It's way too incongruous with Hazel.

I don't mind Hazel but really dislike Blu. I know there are colours that are names like Scarlett, Violet etc, which I love but I don't see Blu as a name. I also think Blu sounds very masculine for a girl.

Love Hazel -- it was my paternal grandmother's name. No way in the world would I put it with anything that is a colour or sounds like one though. Grandma's middle name was Jean if you would like a suggestion as to something else that goes nicely

Hazel is lovely. Blu is misspelled and another colour. Sort of like calling someone Scarlet Jade or Indigo Purple. A bit silly.
However it is the middle name so put what you want!

What LynnyP said. Sounds silly. (Next you'll say your surname is Brown...)
But Hazel is nice.

I agree with all PP, Blu isn't nice at all and not combined with Hazel. Hazel is very pretty though.

Yep, another fan here of Hazel, but not of Blu.
Good luck with your decision.

Hazel is pleasant, but TBH I don't think "Blu" sounds any good as its middle name. IMO there's loads of unusual classic names that would be better suited..

Hazel is lovely. Hazel Blu together sounds lovely however I too agree with others on the 'blue' thing. How about Hazel Lou Lou or Hazel Lea/Lee instead?

Do you want honesty? I LOVE Hazel, but Hazel Blu together (especially spelt like that) sounds like one of those names either a prostitute or a drag queen would use. The blue connotation, maybe - as in Blue Movies?

I like Hazel..not a big fan of "blu" though. However its your child so you can name her whatever you want.

I like Hazel, but not Blu.
TBH Blu reminds me of a nickname for a redhead. Or worse, I have heard of so many dog's called Blue.

Personally I wouldn't do that to a little girl...
Love Hazel, not so much Blu

I like Hazel, it's cute and a bit different.
If Blue has some sort of significance for you then I would use it, however I'd probably keep the 'e' on it. How often do people use their middle names anyway. If you were considering it for a first name I'd say no, but middle name is fine.
