I thought with the weather being as beautiful as it has been (some days of late)and with spring upon us and Floriade under way, we should organise an EB picnic at Floriade.

So I was thinking maybe in the next say 2 or so weeks. Later on in the week (maybe a thursday) so some of our working mums can make it (also if we have mums who work in the city maybe they can make it in lunch hours).

We could take some rugs for babies to lay around and the toddlers/older kids can enjoy a run around and some of the kids entertainment.

I would suggest everyone just BYO and we can just all 'cop a squat' (I love that movie) under a shady tree and enjoy this glorious weather!

What would people say about next public service pay day? So not this week, but perhaps Thursday the 6th October?

Cheers original.gif

Sounds great Mel, Bella loved Floriade last year so I'm keen to go again.

Will have to check with DH first though as it's his birthday on the 6th, so if he's working we'll be there for sure.

Cheers,

Nicola

Hi Mel,

We might be there a bit earlier and will try to stick around that long. However 1.00pm is usually the latest my little miss will go without a sleep (especially with the new improved waking time of 5.30).

Cheers,

Nicola

Really sorry to have to give this one a miss...both DS&DD have been exposed to chicken pox twice last week ...Hate it, you can't tell who'se kids have it until it's too late.

So although there is not sign of it yet, we don't want to take a risk in spreading the virus...

Have a great time,
Alex.
