I just ducked up there and did a mini shop at Coles, it looks lovely and it's nice that Woolies is finally getting a bit of competition.

There is Michael's Coffee and cake shop, a Regect shop, Best and Less, News agents and Yippee a Medicare office (which means no more dragging the kids into the mall to get back the money from a docs visit).

Can't wait for Big W to open as well.

I went up this morning as well. I love that you can park directly underneath and catch the elevators up. no more being exposed to the weather when trying to juggle kids and a trolley. IMHO everything looked great.

Don't know if anyone saw the Coles specials or not, but apparently rump steak is on special this week for $5.98 (save $11).

Hopefully hubby and I will head up tonight, as we omved into our new place in Ngunnawal over the weekend, and there are NO plugs! So I miss out on my nice warm bath! sad.gif

I'll be very glad to park under cover out of the weather too.

I went to take a look yesterday but had to park at Woolies....I figured since I had to park there I might as well shop there!

Of Big W I can say that the staff have been working their little butts off for an October 25th opening. My 15 year old has put in over 20 hours over the last week, and has lots of exciting news to tell. It's coming complete with 6-8 self serve checkouts, a regular check out computer system so new it hasn't yet hit the open market, extended opening hours, all sorts of things. I can't wait for a bit of variety out here!
