THe only recommendation I can make is to go to someone that a parent of a baby/toddler recommends - We went to a hairdresser's for a toddler haircut after ringing and checking that the lady was used to young children, and being told that yes, she was quite used to them and experienced, only to find out that the experienced lady was only young herself (maybe 20ish?), and didn't seem at all used to young children. SHe ended up pleading with my disinterested son to sit still and look up, and meanwhile the scissors were going so near his face and his eyes that I almost told her to stop halfway through and just leave it - I was that worried he would be injured. Actually after that we found a lady who worked in a discount chain of hairdressers who had a little boy about the same age as mine, and she was brilliant because she was used to cutting her own child's hair, and wasn't at all fazed by a child looking from side to side while she cut - she just followed his head around! I'm not sure if she's still working but if you'd like her name you can pm me. (I'm not sure of the rules re mentioning business names/people's names on EB)

Hi Bec,

Another EB mum recommended Lisa at Pockett of Styles Hair Design and we've found her to be excellent. She's a mum herself and is always very patient with Bella as she swings her head from side to side all the time.

I think we were charged $8.00 last time we went and the number is (02) 6294 6434, they are located at the Pockett Ave Shops in Banks.

Cheers,

Nicola
