I'll put my hand up and say I love it.
I think it has good connotations for me - reminds me of the Throwing Muses album which I loved in the uni days. Yes I am OLD.

A little different - I knew someone named Romana - its a character from the old Dr Whos. Her name was quite often shortened to Marnie.

I always think of "Ramona the Brave" by Beverly Cleary when I hear the name Ramona. I remember reading that when I was a kid.
I don't dislike the name.
