Hi all.
DS has just turned 2.
Anyway for 2 days now DS had had bad nappy rash to the point of him crying when i try and change his nappy.
I Have been putting nappy rash cream on at every change which is every hr at this stage.
TMI but his poos are green not a dark green a light/bright green
Is that something to be concerned about?
I am going to take him to the doctors tomorrow if it is not better. As trying to bathe him is a nightmare aswell he wont even put his bum on the water.
We have never had nappy rash like this before.
He has only had nappy rash a small amount of times and it was only very mild then, Now it is bad..
What would you use on it?
Thanks Jen

When my daughter had really bad nappy rash my gp told me to get Hydrozole cream for her. It cleared up in 24 hours.. its fantastic however your pharmacist will grill you before selling it to you because you should not use on children under 2 without gps advice. All the best.

When DS was hospitalised, with the rota virus, they treated his (severe wacko.gif ) nappy rash with a non-prescription ointment called Calmoseptine. It was very fast acting and easily available at most pharmacies, but due to its strength I was told not to use it for any longer than it took to clear up iykwim.
