Morning All.

This was just my experiece this morning. I live in Amaroo and our ONLY garage in Gungahlin was selling unleaded for 139.9 a litre. I decided not to fill up there and go to Campbell after dropping DH at work. I only went there because it is a small garage and the attendant will come out and get my money and I don't have to get 2 DD's out of the car...

Anyway they were selling unleaded for 129.9. I filled our car with Optimax which was still cheaper than the unleaded was a Gungahlin...

Who knows what the prices will be tomorrow being Public Service pay day..but just thought I would share...

Oh something I found at woolies fuel this week was if you used your Visa card to pay you got an extra 4 cents off per-litre which made it 8c off per-litre.

But something I found weird when I went to Batemans Bay this last weekend was that coles in there brochure had a "sale" on wine, and if you brought 6 bottles of this wine you got 20 cents off your fuel.
I don't think I'm comfortable with that coupling of goods, wine and driving???? But to each his own I guess.

Just a quick note on the fuel price at the Gungahlin Woolies...

They have their big outside sign marked at $1.39 (before discounts), but when I went there it hadn't yet been changed on the bowsers so was still $1.28. So if you had your 4c/litre voucher it was $1.24 and a further 4c/litre if paying via visa.

I'm not sure if it's still like it, they were kind of itching to change the bowser prices over, but filling near on empty dual tanks with 130 litres of petrol that was much cheaper made the task much less painful...$157 is still a lot to fill up though sad.gif

Oh no, I'm driving to Melbourne on Friday Morn. If anyone sees some cheaper prices around please let me know.

Thanks, lets hope it goes down at least a little,

I am sooo glad that I sent O to buy fuel last night. He got it for $121 with a voucher. We bought 6 bottles of wine from Coles last week so we have 20c off when it hits its highest. I think that the promotion is over now which is a bit sad as I could do with some more.

Thanks

Don't know how I did that.

Holy crap 20c/L discount! If only I'd known I would have bought wine by the case! I'll even be able to drink it soon!

We had a discussion last night about converting to LPG because of the fuel prices.
