Hi everyone

Following on from my other posts the current name favourites for our 3rd are Lucy or Henry. We have no family or close friends' children with these names either.

DS's name is Archie James and DD's is Millie Elisabeth. Any middle name suggestions appreciated.

Boys- all we have so far is:
Henry Guy Ch---er (Guy is my DH's middle name)

Girls
Lucy Beatrice Ch---er
Lucy Isabella (Spanish form of Elisabeth, which is DD's MN)
Lucy India
Lucy Alice
Lucy April
Lucy Zara

Thanks

Mel

Thanks Hola and Fifi-Trixibelle

We have gone for Isabella rather than Isabelle as we prefer it and there are 2 first name Isabel/Isabelles in the family and one with it as a middle name, so we wanted something slightly different.

Hola - there are definitely some possibilities there. Do like Rose and May too but again used by close family.

Henry & Lucy are beautiful names .... : )

Out of ur names I'd go with Lucy Isabella or Lucy Beatrice .... lovely!

Personally i'd use Lucy Catherine or Lucy Kate as that's a family name of ours which suits too. I also like Lucy Charlotte.

With Henry we would have Henry Thomas, Henry Hugh or Henry William/Liam ... again as they go & are family names. I think its nice to use a family name if it means something to u as mn's r hardly used anyway. Guy does go too.

I prefer Lucy with a one or three+ syllable middle name (no idea why!), so the first two work for me original.gif

Henry... I like Henry James but you can't use it laughing2.gif

Henry John is the only one I can think of - again I think one or three+ syllable middle names work best original.gif

I think that you have hit the nail on the head that either a one syllable or 3 or more syllable sound better with both of them, when you say them. It must be with both of the names being 2 syllables eg

Henry Guy
Henry George
Henry Alexander

Lucy Beatrice
Lucy Isabella
Lucy May - other young family member has May
Lucy Rose
