Thanks for this Helen! I can't wait to take my DD#1 - she will LOVE it.
Once upon a time, many years ago I was in an ensemble conducted by Ian McLean and I have to say he is an amazing man. He loves his music and loves bringing it to the people. He was the guy that brought the RMC Band out into the world more with their lunchtime concerts and the like. I hope I may get an opportunity to say hello to him on the day.....

I thought his name rang a bell (no pun intended, lol). An even better reason to go along.

We've got our tickets already (to the 3pm session) and am really looking forward to it.
One hint - we tried to book online and my credit card kept getting declined despite there being plenty of funds available. That problem apparently existed because I tried to book at a busy time. But, if you ring and book over the phone (as we did), for an extra $1.50 they will send the tickets to you and we got better seats allocated than what were offered online.
Let me know where you're sitting if you go to the same session and hopefully we'll catch up.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Helen.

Cool! I will be booking tomorrow (as it is payday for us) so I'll let you know then.
Wow - Miss Julia (DD#1) is going to have a very busy week. Hi-5 on the 22nd, birthday party on the 26th and this concert on the 27th! What a spoiled little girl!

Well I just booked my tickets for the 1.30 show

I forgot to check what time you were going. I thought about calling them back and changing it but 1.30 suits Julia much better. By 3 o'clock she's tired and fidgety.
Having said that - she's going to the 2pm Hi-5 show but I have no doubt that she will be front and centre dancing and singing her heart out! A bit different to a quiet theatre performance! Afterwards I will be dealing with a very feral beast but hey - why else do we have kids?
