I have my younger sister coming to visit for a month with my dad is O/S. To accomodate her so she can do her school work she needs her own room which means putting our 2 DD's in the same room.

In the past this was not so much of a problem but we have just weined our 2.5 yr old off nightime bottles and I worried if she sees her sister with one WW3 might break out.

Does anyone have any advice? I am loathed to cave and give her a bottle again for the month....

Thanks

Megan and Alex share.

They go really well, Alex hasn't had night time bottles for ages and ages now, but we do put a tippee cup next to his bed if he wakes up and his thirsty. But then he has a toddler bed.

But his never once tried to take his sister's bottle, then again its < 6 month formula so i'm guessing if he did he wouldn't like the taste.

You could always make it a camp out thing. Alex loves "camping" which just involves a sleepbag.

Hope it goes well,
Nat.

I don't think you'll have a problem if you're discreet about the bottles! If your younger daughter has her bottles in her cot, perhaps you could make sure that she's not visible while she's drinking them - put up a screen or angle the beds so they're not looking directly at each other.
