Do you like the name
Eden?I'm really loving it ATM and i like the meaning of it too.
Just curious as to what others
really think of the name.
Does the spelling Edynn look awful too?

ETA it probably suits my other childrens names better this way.... not sure if i like it though. DH does

Is it for a boy or a girl?
I prefer Eden for a boy but it is ok for a girl. Definitely do not spell it Edynn though, it looks awful and mispelt.

NMS but if you are going to use it definitely spell it Eden. Otherwise, she'll be spending the rest of her life spelling it and cursing you

We have an Eden (see sig) and everyone comments on how beautiful the name is, it matches my gorgeous girl perfectly. We use the nick name Eadie for her

I'm not a fan of the spelling Edynn

This one caught my eye on the front page!
I have a little "Eden-girl". The only negative comment I have ever had on her name is from MIL.

We call her Edie quite often.
I like the proper spelling for all names as it saves me feeling embarrassed if I spell the name wrong.

Love the name Eden, but IMO it is a girls name. I wouldn't go spelling it differently either.

I love it, spelled Eden.
Our almost 4 year old would have been Eden if DH hadn't opened his mouth to the MIL, who thought it was horrible. What is it with MILs?! We learned our lesson and didn't share any future names, but I do still love it.

We have an DD Eden. DH's idea. Have had a few comments of it being a boys name - mainly by the over 50's. My parents actually thought we'd had a boy when DH told them her name

I love it,

I think it is so so feminine sounding and it would NEVER have crossed my mind that it was a boys name
