Can anyone tell me where you can buy Little Tikes toys in the
ACT? In particular I am after a moulded plastic see-saw type
thingy for use outdoors (for a 16 mo). There is a blue see-
saw whale at Kids Rampage which DD LOVES, and I have
seen a moulded plastic rocking horse which I think was also
Little Tikes.
I've checked Toys R Us and they didnt seem to have them.
Thanks for your help.

Grace Bros in Tuggernanong have Little Tikes. Otherwise my sister just gave me toy catelogue for a toy fundrasier through her child care centre. I am sure a centre would appreciate you popping in and purchasing through their fundraiser as the centre get toy gifts depending on the amount of sales they do.

The Whale Teeter Totter?
Its a Whale that comes in Blue or Teal. They are 149.90 plus 14.99 postage and handling from MTA.
This is the company that sells to pre-school, kindy's and those places like rampage.
There number is 1300 300 112. the Whale teeter totter is on page 593 of the 2005 MTA book.
From my dealings with this company, you should get the teeter tooter in about 4 to 7 days of ordering....
You might want to shop around first, But Little Tikes toys are always $$$$.
They do have one of these at the Noah's Arch for $8.80 a fortnight.
Hope this helped.

Thank you all for the ideas.
I didnt even know there was a toy shop at Fyshwick
Kim.......OH NOOOOOOoooooooo what have you done? At
least Toys R Us is so far away it ensured I didnt get there
very often...Fyshwick is much closer ;p
Mumma-g I will have a look in Gracies next time I'm in
there...would even get Fly Buy points if they had it there!
Natalie22 thanks for all the info on MTA. I found their web site
and am downloading catalogues as we speak. What a
treasure trove of stuff. Might have to open a childcare centre
so I can write off the toys! I was hoping the see-saw would be
a bit cheaper than that. DH would not be impressed!!!!! :-( I
might have a look into the Noah's Ark thing...I didnt know you
could hire stuff. At least I could gage how much DD was likely
to use it for a fortnight, and therefore whether it was worth the
$150.
Thanks again.
Have a great day.

Jsut to add to what other's have said. Noahs Ark toy library at Rivett Primary School is great. They have a website to give you an idea of what's on offer.
http://www.noahsarkresourcecentre.com/I borrowed a little tikes rocking horse from them which my son loved - then bought a cheapy version rocking snail from Myer for $10.00 (they also have them at Target).
Super Toyworld in Fyshwick is the best toy shop in town in my humble opinion. Excellent range, good prices, usually have good generic brands at much lower prices (ie. a realistic baby doll for $15.00 that's quite like a Baby born ($70). A little kitchen for $70.00, versus the Step 2 model for $170 etc. And they also have the Little Tikes catalogue (on a table near the front door) and will order anything in for you that you want.

Tinka, my cat Tinka is just a long haired moggy. I also have a Russian Blue called Charlie. I love my cats.....they are my babies...... :)If I had a bigger house I would have more felines....
