I am just pregnant I know but I think to think ahead. I am wanting to have a doula for the birth of this baby. But I have no idea on where to go from here.

Any ideas?

I should have posted but I have sent OP a PM as doulamummy is away at the moment so may take a while to respond.

There are a few around and its best to get in early as I hear they can book up quite quickly.

Here is one I know of Doula

I can highly recommend Vickie at Confident Birth (in the PP's link). She was my doula for the VBAC birth of DD2, and was fantastic. She was a great support for both myself and DH.

She also does Reiki, which I had never experienced before. I had a couple of sessions towards the end of my pg - amazing and sooooo relaxing.

I think she only takes on a few clients a month, so I would suggest booking in early if this is the way you want to go.

Another vote for Vickie from Confident Birth She was fantastic esp. in the lead up to the birth of my 3rd baby. Highly recommended.
