Has anyone heard any reviews lately about the tower restaurant? Is the food any good or is it just a tourist rip off joint?

I haven't been for quite a few years, so this is probably out of date....

But it used to be lovely. Very expensive, but the food and the service were both excellent. They have a few meals that they cook at your table for you and it was great to talk to the chef while he cooked. We went for my Dad's 50th and they really went out of their way to make it a special night for us.

We too haven't been for quite a few years, before children (BC) in fact. It was expensive but very nice. The restaurant revolves and it takes a little getting used too. Especially if you go to the toilet and come out and you table has moved (LOL). We went up on skyfire night and had a birdseye view. I highly recommend the crocodile medallions if they still do them (YUMMO)!!
