HELP!

I've been invited to a 70's dance party next month and NEED to make myelf a costume but haven't got any 70's fabric or trims.

If you have some retro patern fabric or bead/braid trim laying in the bottom of your rag bag or fabric stash (or your mum does!) I would love to put it to good use!

Please help me! I promise to email you a picture of me looking like a complete 70's dag! wink.gif

PS. I am not going to wear gold lame and leaopard skin for ANYONE. Hotpants and A-line dresses I can handle, lycra? - uh uh! wink.gif

Have you tried op shops? Even if they haven't got the actual piece of clothing you're after, they might have something that can be butchered into suitability.

My sisters found a fabbo late 70's wedding dress at a QBN op shop for my wedding night. My, didn't I look lovely.....
