Hi,

Can anyone help me with info regarding public notary (not Justice of Peace) please? I need to get a document sign by Public notary. I called one at Civic and they told:

- Just to witness me sign the document, $70
- Notary certificate, $110

Is that their NORMAL price for one signature?? Thanks in advance.

Hi Yani,

DH, who is a solicitor, says that those fees sound
about right. He says public notaries are a dying breed
and are quite hard to find. He thinks some big legal
firms probably have them.

Hi Alex,

Thanks. I found other PN and he's cheaper than the first one I asked. It will be $75 instead of $110. See you again soon.
